Tell me about your company. What do you do?
The International WHO'S WHO specializes in providing members with current and accurate biographical data on some of the most prolific business professionals in the world. In contrast to our competitors, our expanded biographies are written in an easy-to-read and use format. Free of confusing jargon or codes. To maximize networking usefulness, our member's biographies are not only indexed by the individual's last name, but also by their company name, their geographic area, and the specific industry in which they work. This allows members to target their networking efforts to reach markets for expanding their business.

How long have you been in business?
The International WHO'S WHO Historical Society has been documenting biographies on successful professionals since 1928. Over the years, we have evolved into a series of highly selective and prestigious international reference publications.


Are you affiliated with any other Who's Who?
Our publications are compiled and published by the International WHO'S WHO Historical Society. The titles currently compiled by our company include: International WHO'S WHO of Professionals; International WHO'S WHO of Professional Management; International WHO'S WHO of Entrepreneurs; International WHO'S WHO of Information Technology; International WHO'S WHO of Professional Educators WHO'S WHO of Professional Educators; International WHO'S WHO of Public Service; WHO'S WHO in California… We are not affiliated with any other Who's Who organizations or titles.


I have received this nomination letter and abbreviated biographical data form. What does it mean?
The letter you have received means that you have been referred to us as a potential candidate for inclusion in one of our professional business directories. The abbreviated biographical data form is an application to determine if you are eligible for inclusion. Upon receipt of your data form, our selection committee will review your application and if you are qualified for inclusion, we will contact you.


How did you get my name?
Your name was submitted to our organization in one of two ways. Our research staff may have chosen you as one of the best possible candidates by researching trade journals, business publications, and organizations like Dun & Bradstreet.

We also send nomination forms to all of our members in their membership packages so they are provided with the opportunity to nominate anyone they feel would benefit from membership. We do not, however, keep any records as to the source of the nomination in an effort to avoid embarrassment to the candidate or nominating member in the event of a rejection of an application.



Why do I have to give all this personal information?
As an important force in the Who's Who market, we take the process a bit further than the academic and social registries. Our professional business directories are published with the intent of providing recognition, exposure and publicity based upon one's lifetime accomplishments, whether they be academic, social, or professional. Our goal is to maintain the high quality of our membership by providing accurate and complete professional biographies.


Who uses these books?
Our directories are proprietary publications made available only to members for networking purposes. The biographies are cross-indexed by industry, geographic area, company name, and member's name.
International WHO'S WHO of Professionals honors Presidents, Vice President, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, and Chairmen of major corporations from around the globe.

International WHO'S WHO of Professional Management spotlights General Managers, Departmental Managers, Executive Assistants, Personnel Directors, and Team Leaders.

How many members do you have?
At the present time, our membership consists of more than 80,000 professionals worldwide.


Do I have to buy anything?
No, there is no cost or obligation for a free listing in our directory. Membership is completely voluntary. If you are accepted, you will be contacted regarding the outcome and given an opportunity to purchase the directory. Everyone who successfully completes the one-to-one interview with a Membership Selection Committee representative will be listed in the publication in our nonmember section.


How much does the directory cost?
If you are interested in the directory, we have various publication programs depending on the membership package you select.

The first step you must take is to mail or fax us your completed abbreviated biographical data form in order for the Membership Selection Committee may begin to determine your eligibility. After this has been determined, you will be contacted regarding the outcome.



Are your prices in U.S. currency?

Yes.


Can I find your book/publication in my library or bookstore?
Our directories are strictly proprietary, for our member's use only. We do not allow them to be in any library other than the Library of Congress. We do this to protect our members from being put on mailing lists and getting unsolicited phone calls.


Are your publications available in any language other than English?
At the current time, our directories are only available in English.





What is included in my membership?
As a member of the International WHO'S WHO Historical Society, you will receive a customized biography, a personalized certificate, access to our knowledge bank, also known as the WHO'S WHO Kbank. You will also be given your own WHO'S WHO email account and have access to our quarterly newsletter. As an added bonus, you will receive access to our membership benefits and services package.Depending upon the membership to Books Online.,Plaques, bookends, bookmarks, and marquis crystal paperweights may also be included.A variety of additional products and services are available to accompany your membership.



How do I place an order?
Upon being contacted by the Membership Selection Committee and successfully completing the one-to-one interview, you will be presented with the opportunity to purchase a publication package.


Are your prices in U.S. dollars?
Yes.


What methods of payments are accepted?

Is it safe to shop online?
In order to ensure all information you transmit during the ordering process is secure, we utilize

After I purchase my membership, how long will it take for me to receive my welcome package?
You should receive your welcome package within 5-10 business days after purchasing your membership.


When will I receive my book/publication?
Our publications are printed annually. Each title is published and shipped at a different time throughout the year. Members are notified of their specific directory's ship date in the welcome package.

How do I nominate someone?

Why do I need a username and password?
Your username and password enables you to enter the "Members Only" section of oue Web site. If included in your membership, it may also be used to gain access to Books Online service.



How can I get an invoice?
When requested, members will receive an invoice in their welcome package. If an additional invoice is needed, contact a Membership Services Representative at (800) 200-9337 or (202) 544-7136.



How can I link my Web pages to the WHO'S WHO home page?
For a nominal fee, you will be able to link your personal or corporate Web page to our WHO'S WHO site.

How does the Kbank work?
Our knowledge bank, also known as the Kbank, offers you the opportunity to ask questions of a professional
nature to our 80,000 members in 160 countries. Simply email your inquiries to us and we will send a global email to our membership.




What is the WHO'S WHO email and how do I sign up?
Your personal WHO'S WHO email account allows you to access your email account at anytime from anywhere.

What is Books Online?
Books Online, the electronic version of our directories, provides our membership with access to their biographies at any time from anywhere in the world.

What is the status of my corrections?
In order to determine the status of your corrections to your biography, contact a Membership Services Representative at (800) 200-9337 or (202) 544-7136 for assistance.



How do I make corrections to my biography?
Each member receives a copy of their biography on a typeset proof in their welcome package. You can make any necessary changes to your biography on the typeset proof and return it in the envelope provided. Typeset proofs may also be faxed to (910) 455-1937.

Can I make corrections online?
At the current time, we require all corrections to be submitted in writing in order to guarantee the utmost
accuracy for our members.



How long do I have to make a correction to my biography?
In order to ensure our publications are printed and shipped on schedule, we ask members to submit corrections to their biography within 10 business days of receiving their typeset proof in their welcome package.



How can I change my name on my certificate or plaque??
If you require a change to your name on a certificate or plaque, contact a Membership Services Representative at (800) 200-9337 or (202) 544-7136



My item was damaged in shipping. How can I replace it?
In the event that a product was damaged during shipment, contact a Membership Services Representative at (800) 200-9337 or (202) 544-7136 for assistance.



What is the best format to submit my logo?
Logos submitted for inclusion in the directories should be black and white camera-ready artwork. Logos appearing in the directories will measure 1"x 2". The best electronic format is as a '.tif' image 300 dpi greyscale and 650 dpi bitmapped.



Why is black and white camera-ready artwork necessary?
Black and white camera-ready artwork provides the highest photographic quality possible, therefore ensuring the best reproduction. Faxes, photocopies, and photographs do not reproduce well and can not be included in the directories.



Can I send my logo via email?
Sending a logo via email is acceptable. You can submit your logo in a '.tif' or '.jpeg' ('.jpg') format to whoswho@internationalwhoswho.com.



How can I get a copy of the quarterly newsletter?
The quarterly newsletter is available online for you to access.



What is the status of my picture and biography
in the newsletter?

Pictures and biographies are included in the newsletter in the order in which they were received and as space permits.



What is the status of my article in the newsletter?
Articles submitted for the newsletter are included in the order in which they were received and as space permits.
